Wolfes Smokehouse and BBQ: Experience Authentic Barbecue Bliss in Kokomo, IN

I came all the way home from Texas to try this BBQ, and it did not disappoint. Brisket was fantastic with its moisture and fantastic flavor with that little hit of black pepper on the end. All the sides were delicious, especially the Cole slaw. 100% recommended and will return.

I've had the pleasure of dining at Wolfe's BBQ on multiple occasions, and each visit has been a delightful experience. The pulled pork is consistently wonderful, with a perfect balance of smokiness and tenderness that keeps me coming back for more. While I did encounter tough ribs on one visit, the flavor was still exceptional. Thankfully, the last half rack I ordered was spot on, cooked to perfection with a deliciously savory taste. What truly sets Wolfe's BBQ apart is the dedication of the staff. They are genuinely invested in the quality of the food they serve and go out of their way to ensure that every customer enjoys their meal. Their passion for barbecue is evident in every bite. The recent addition of indoor seating is a welcome improvement. Although the space is a bit small, the new chairs are comfortable and the tables were all clean. Overall, Wolfe's BBQ is a fantastic spot for anyone who appreciates great barbecue and excellent service. I highly recommend giving it a try!

I am a Truck Driver from Arkansas/Texas that was brought here by a friend of mine when I was in the area for the weekend. I’m pretty stingy on my BBQ but this place was SO GOOD! Me and my friends got the platter to try everything and there wasn’t ANYTHING I didn’t like. My top favorites were the Brisket, Sausage, Bologna, and the Pulled pork. There sauces were SO good as well and I was able to take some extra with me and it went great with anything I put in it! Especially the Spicy BBQ. Their sweet tea was the best I’ve had this far north and I would 100% come back anytime.

If you love BBQ like we do, you must try Wolfes!! We got the pulled pork entree with brisket beans and the mac n cheese bowl with pork, both with their sweet bbq sauce. No matter what you get, it's all amazing! Their customer service is outstanding as well. Don't forget the dessert! We had this amazing peanut butter layered deliciousness and it was so good!! Great place for smoked meats! Got a rack of ribs and a pound of pulled pork on my first visit. Price is reasonable for the flavor and quality meat you get! I’m not a big fan of St.Louis style ribs but in this case, they are magnificent! A lot more meat vs baby back ribs and the cartilage area...The meat just slid right off making it easy to eat! The char flavor from the BBQ sauce was one of the best I’ve had and I frequent places like this looking for the best. Wolfes is by far the best within a hundred miles! The owner gave me a sample of his brisket while waiting and it was tender, flavorful and had a beautiful smoke ring. I will be making this a regular eat between my own smokes! Thank you for doing it right, you got a fan and customer for life!

highly recommend! Staff was helpful and friendly! Food was fabulous ! My family ordered the brisket, pulled pork and Turkey breast with two orders of mac n cheese. I personally am a picky eater and enjoyed every bite ! Will be back soon !

Was in town for work and just googled and saw the reviews and all I can saw is WOW!!! This place was absolutely amazing. From the customer service to the food. Definitely will come back when I have to come back in town. Definitely a must try.

I order food here regularly and it is a hit EVERY single time!! I crave the smoked sausage if it’s been more than a week since I last got it. I’ve never gotten a single side that I didn’t like, but my favorite is the potato salad which is clearly handmade and utterly fantastic. They recently switched to cornbread presumedly because of the reviews suggesting they have cornbread so they also listen to reviews and adjust accordingly.
